Siân was born and raised in Sydney, Australia, but has lived in Birmingham for the past 17 years. She comes from an arts background, having a degree in arts theory, a masters in arts administration. She’s worked in a number of art galleries, including Ikon Gallery, and ran an arts-based experiential dining business, Companis, with a mate, which took her to Barbican, London amongst other places. She has a husband and three energetic children, a dog and a cat. She likes to be in the wilderness as much as possible, enjoying wild swimming and dancing and the occasional run. Being outdoors, surrounded by awe-inspiring landscape and working with clay make her happy.
